Floor Sanding Questions.
How long does it take to complete a room?
If it is pine floorboards and 15-20m2 it should take approx 2 days and a morning, as it is recomended only to put 2 lacquers of lacquer on in one day.
If it is an engineered floor approx 25-40m2, it should take 2 days and a morning. Also dependant on condition of the floor.
How long until I can walk on the floor?
You can walk in the floor in socks once dry, but on the final layer of lacquer, it's advisable to stay off the floor as much as possible that day..
How long does the lacquer take to dry?
The first layer takes an hour to dry and the last 2 layers take 2-3 hours to dry.
When can we put the furniture back?
It is recommended to place the furniture or floor coverings back on the floor after 72 hours/3days.
Will there be a lot of dust?
No there is very minimal dust, as all our sanding is attached to a Vacuum.
Floor Fitting Questions.
What types of flooring do you fit?
We fit all types from Laminate, Engineered, Parquet, Vinyl, Lvt and more.
Does the furniture need to be moved?
It is better to move the furniture out of the room if possible, but we can work with a small amount in the room, if need be.
Can you supply the floor?
Yes we can supply the floor and all necessary materials.
How Long does it take to fit a floor?
Dependant on floor type and shape of room, but usually approximately 20-40m2 in a day. Hallways can take a day. Parquet & herringbone will take longer.
How do I clean my sanded and fitted floors?
We recommend using the "bona wood floor cleaning kit'.
You can buy it online from 'amazon' or 'argos'.
