Floor Sanding Questions.
How long does it take to complete a room?
If the floor is pine floorboards and covers 15–20 m², the job should take approximately two days and a morning. It is recommended to apply only two layers of lacquer in one day, allow it to dry thoroughly overnight, and return the next morning for the final application.
For engineered flooring of approximately 25–40 m², the process should also take two days and a morning, depending on the condition of the floor. Hardwax Oil takes significantly longer to dry—typically 8 to 10 hours—but only two coats are necessary.
How long until I can walk on the floor?
You can walk in the floor in socks once dry, but on the final layer of lacquer, it's advisable to stay off the floor as much as possible that day..
How long does the lacquer take to dry?
The first layer takes an hour to dry and the last 2 layers take 2-3 hours to dry.
When can we put the furniture back?
It is recommended to place the furniture or floor coverings back on the floor after 72 hours/3days.
Will there be a lot of dust?
No there is very minimal dust, as all our sanding is attached to a Vacuum.

What types of flooring do you fit?
We fit all types from Laminate, Engineered, Parquet, Vinyl, Lvt and more.
Does the furniture need to be moved?
It is better to move the furniture out of the room if possible, but we can work with a small amount in the room, if need be.
Can you supply the floor?
Yes we can supply the floor and all necessary materials.
How Long does it take to fit a floor?
Installation time depends on the type of flooring and the layout of the room. As a general guide, we can typically fit between 20–40 m² in a single day. Hallways may require a full day due to their complexity. Parquet and herringbone patterns take longer to install because of their intricate design.
How do I clean my sanded and fitted floors?
We recommend using the "bona wood floor cleaning kit'.
